Final Poster For Digital Showcase..!!

This is my final poster..
For this i have changed the fonts by adding capital letters.
However the main change that i have made and also agreed on with the class was to change the "D" for the DIGITAL SHOWCASE. As you can see i have warped and skewed it to turn it from looking like an 'A' to a 'D'...

Developed Posters Since December 2008..

I created this poster as my first idea, but then realized that it didn't seem enough to be picked by the group. So i changed the picture setting from landscape to portrait to see if it looked any better.

This was my second attempt, i tried to make it look as real as it could be, however after evaluating i and my course tutor decided it was only atrracting females attension. So my next step was to make it more of a unisex poster which will attract males and also female.

This is the final poster which i decided on; however after looking at it through with the class, it was decided that i had to shorten the address to make it less complicated but also the poster will look a bit thinner (in the sense of text and pattern).

As you can see i have changed few of many things in this poster from the previous poster. I have changed the colour of DIGITAL SHOWCASE and also changed the way it looks, by changing the brush tools to make it more obvious for people who may not be able to read what it says. I have also changed the colour scheme of the adress, as you can see it was pink and white, where as after i chnaged it i did it blue and white, so balance the colours out.

This is what i am currently working on. I have changed the splash behind "Digital Showcase" and also changed fonts and colours

Ideas For Tickets

We also discussed in how our ticket would look at the end and we came up with these ideas..
One of the ideas for ticket could be to use colour coordination to separate the adults out and the children out. As you can see the ticket above, the 3 colours represent different category within the audience. Simple to make and easy to show how much the ticket cost and who is who, in the sense of adults are shown to be adults and kids to be listed as kids.
Another idea is film strip tickets. This gives it the sense of a movie but very posh but yet trendy.

Combined Core Themes (Idea)

We has a group Discussion To combine Few themes together to create something unique and also different and we came up with this.

We decided to combine comic book with retro style to create a hip poster..
We also discussed that we could mix Graffiti with Grunge Art..

Competiton Brief Vs Live brief

In this assignment (Unit 4), we have covered Competiton brief and also Live brief.

Live brief is set in industry where you present a live show with a set and professional people.
Where as a competition brief is open to all. It allows you enter a competition online where you can upload your work and have a set time to do it in. in the end result you get an incentive, which could be something along the lines of cash or anything that can be giving away (such as ipod’s, ps3 and etc).

An example of a Comeptitin Brief: Walkers..

Walkers launched a competition to everyone to make their own flavours and post in their ideas. The chose
n idea will become successfull and have a certain amount of shares with the company!

For a live brief, Channel 4 created a brief for the student who are inot animation or stidents who work in the industry of media. This is the poster that was created for this brief...
